Taekwon-Do Kids Program
Tigers (3 - 8 years old)
Edwards Martial Arts Academy strives to create a fun and energetic learning environment for our students.
Our Tigers program is broken into two age groups. Our Mini-Tigers for children 3 - 5 years old and our Tigers for children 6 - 8 years old. Lessons for the Mini-Tigers are 30 minutes and lessons for the Tigers are 45 minutes.
One of the oaths of Taekwon-Do is to build a more peaceful world. The building of a more peaceful world depends on the quality of its leaders. The best hope we have to build a more peaceful world is to prepare our children to be the leaders of tomorrow. At Edwards Martial Arts Academy we believe it is important to start at an early age.
The Mini-Tigers class is on Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:00 pm
The Tigers class is on Tuesday from 5:15 to 6:00 pm
Our teaching program is designed to further the cognitive, behavioral, physical, social and moral development of our future leaders and is grounded in the Taekwon-Do system of self-defense.
Lessons consist of activities (games, discussions, role-playing, exercises) designed to provide your future leader the opportunity to develop the following:

Life Skills (leadership, obedience, teamwork, independence, organization, responsibility)

Cognitive Skills (attention, memory, concentration)

Social Skills (politeness, assertiveness)

Moral Character (integrity, respect and caring for others, fairness, perseverance, self-control, indomitable spirit)

Skills for learning Taekwon-Do (balance, rhythm, coordination, body movement)
Our proven curriculum will give your child the confidence and positive attitude they need to be successful in life.
